My first reason is that people seem to dislike him because he's competition with Tamahome. Yes, the two both want Miaka, but Hotohori knows she wouldn't be happy with him as long as Tama is around, so the competition is really pointless. I always end up sympathizing with the ones people dislike. Secondly, he's sweet. He's such a romancer and he's so sympathetic and understanding. How can you not love a character that's so kind, generous, and loving? I know there are alot of fangirls out there that like him just because he's hot, but it's more than that for me. He's really got a heart of gold and cares for his friends and subjects. I will be a bit shallow on this one. His personality isn't the only thing I like. He's fine, okay? He's got deep eyes, dark skin, flowing brown hair, is tall, and built. Not to mention the voice. I don't see how Miaka resists him; I'd be a puddle of goo beneath him if he started kissing me like he did her. *-* It's really a combination of all of that, though. He's a well-rounded character and seems really three dimensional. Plus I'm a sucker for the lonely ones. ^_^ back |
